We are fully insured and our license (Operating on an Approved Emergency Waiver Request) allows care up to fourteen (14) children maximum in various ratios with an Assistant.
12 Children-Maximum of 4 Infants with 8 Toddlers/School Age and an Assistant
or
14 children-Maximum of 3 Infants with 9 Toddlers and 2 School Age with an Assistant
These ratios are strictly enforced by Community Care Licensing and Carleigh’s Place will not accept children in violation of Health and Safety Code 1597.44
Staff
Carleigh is the Official Greeter and has happily welcomes everyone to our Child Care facility at some point and time. She has 27 months of experience in doing this vital function and generally, can bring a smile to everyone in a matter of minutes. Our facility would not exist if not for her!
Stephen– Works for Carleigh 24 hours a day-7 Days a week-365 days a year making sure all the needs and necessities are taken care of. A strong Advocate for Families and Working Parents for over 20 years. Received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Metropolitan State University -St. Paul, Minnesota in 2010 and been actively involved with Head Start programs through out the State of California for over 10 years.
Carly– Our newest Member of the Team! Carly joined us as an “Infant Toddler Assistant” and we are very fortunate to have her on staff. Her previous employment included working with Special Education children as an Paraprofessional in a local school district. She is CPR-AED-First Aid certified for Children, Infants and Adults. Carly completed course work in “Reducing the Risk of SIDS and SUID in Early Education and Child Care” along with Prevention of Infectious Disease-Preventative Health Practices and Injury Prevention work.
Program
Our programs are schedule-based slots with specific agreed drop off and pick up times by parents. We offer the traditional Monday through Friday Day Care from 6 am to 6 pm, Overnight Care for parents who work non-traditional hours, and weekend care. We also provide “Drop-in” when space is available.
As licensed child care providers we are always trained in Pediatric First Aid and CPR/AED along with Preventive Health Practices to keep your child safe. Our facility is subject to no-notice inspections by Community Care Licensing and we maintain the highest quality standard of care to ensure your child has beneficial experience and you have no additional worries…
There are numerous daily activities to engage the children. Activities include (but not limited to) story time with each child having their own chair, arts & crafts, playtime, and a spacious backyard with Tucson Wooden Swing Set and plenty of shade for those hot days. Our goal is to help each child develop social skills such as listening, working/sharing with others, communicating with peers and learn to be self-sufficient. At Carleigh’s Place, your child will learn, socialize and have an enjoyable experience.
